Many of you know that what drives where federal contracting opportunities are posted is the dollar amount. If opportunities are over $25,000 in value then they are required to be posted on beta.SAM.gov under “contracting opportunities.” But what about opportunities that are less than $25,000?
In many/most cases a business would need to contact the agency directly to find out about these small dollar amounts because they will not be publicly posted on beta.SAM.gov. However, the Region 1 Forest service which includes the Idaho Panhandle, Montana, and the Dakota Prairie Grasslands posts opportunities that are less than $25,000 on their respective websites.
Yes it is true these are not your multi-million dollar contracts, but a business opportunity is a business opportunity and for some government contractors these small opportunities are the best fit for their capability.
If you are interested in finding and bidding on opportuniteis that fall under $25,000, then we encourage you visit the below websites and bookmark them to your web browser for future use. There could be opportunities waiting for you that you didn’t even know about!!
